Under the patronage of Prime Minister Eng. Nader AL Dahabi, Extensya opens door-wide for business process outsourcing, Largest Jordanian Call Centre Launches Operations
Amman- Extensya, the first and largest Jordanian company specialized in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), has announced the start of its operations in a press conference held under the patronage of the Prime Minister Eng. Nader AL Dahabi, at Four Seasons Hotel on 13th April 2008, and was attended by a large number of local and regional media representatives.

This ground breaking event will promote Jordan as a regional hub for BPO services, which include Contact Management Solutions, Business Support Solutions, and Business Cycle Optimization. Extensya will offer its services from a state-of-the art contact centre in Amman, equipped with the most sophisticated technology in the field of contact management, and geared with a professional team who underwent rigorous training in contact management solutions.

"The Jordanian government is working hard to promote the country on a regional level as a centre of Business Process Outsourcing with accordance of His Majesty King Abdullah II vision. The Ministry of Information and Communications Technology has launched its national strategy and has been implementing this strategy with high professionalism. The launching of Extensya as the first and largest Jordanian company specialized in contact management is a clear evidence of the success of this strategy" Engineer Basim AL Rousan, Information and Communications Technology Minister said.

Being a Jordanian company with global ambitions, Extensya endeavors to compete on the global market while benefiting from the political stability of the country, sound telecommunications infrastructure, diversified local skills, and low-risk associated with business start-ups, as well as the encouraging investment environment in Jordan.

It is estimated that Extensya's workforce at start-up stage will be around 870 members of staff, however this will be increased to reach 5000 in 5 years as the company drums up for more business. Furthermore, the contact centre will be operating round-the-clock, 7 days a week, supported by a sophisticated business network across the region orchestrated from Jordan, in order to achieve maximum flexibility in operations and delivering very responsive services to customers anytime, anywhere.
Commenting on the core values of Extensya, and realizing the leading role it will play on economic and social levels through contributing to sustainable inward economic investment and reducing unemployment, Saqir said: "As a Jordanian company, Extensya contributes to economic growth by attracting major companies in the region and converting them into customers, harnessing on the unique position of Jordan as a safe haven for investment in the region.
